DITO SIM card operational test begins

Despite the fact that the third telco, DITO Telecommunity missed its July technical launch, some  of it's engineers posted on various social media groups showing that there is 4G VoLTE signal. An Ookla Speed Test is another evidence that they have undoubtedly working cell sites in the Philippines.

Some of the photos uploaded reached the speed of internet connection up to 53Mbps, yet this is too early to tell on what would be an average stable speed as it may consider several factors like number of concurrent connections per cell site.

Our  government agencies, DICT and NTC have given 6 months grace period for  technical launch. The UDENNA and China Telecom venture organization will have its 1600 towers working as well.

What is VoLTE?
VoLTE stands for Voice over Long-Term Evolution that provides better sounding voice calls and the ability to use voice and data at the same time, among other things.

Number prefix used, 09xx?
As of the moment there's no specified information yet.
