Injap Sia’s grocery venture MerryMart Consumer Corp. will open its first ever branch in Mindanao next month. Located in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, the store offers an innovative concept of a a supermarket, personal care shop and pharmacy.
MerryMart will replace all Savemore as the anchor supermarket in all CityMalls nationwide.
Three other stores are slated to open in August. They will rise in Bulua Cagayan de Oro, Mactan Cebu and in Roxas.
For September, MerryMart will open in Lapaz, Mambusao, Arton Strip Rockwell and Calapan City.
In October, five new branches will open in Iponon, Cagayan de Oro; Cadiz City, Pavia, Market Market in Bonifacio Global City and Ali Mall Cubao.
For November, another five will open in Riala Cebu Ayala, Tuguegarao, Aparri, Arnaldo and Ayala Harbour Subic.
These new stores will boost MerryMart’s total branch network to 25 by the end of the year.
